It becomes mundane and simply just a thing I “have to do.” In the past, I think this mindset shift has led to a path of self-sabotage - where I am convinced the position either no longer serves me, or isn’t fulfilling enough. Thus, the crossroads I’m currently facing. In this big, blue world we live in, it’s unrealistic to think we can just move from job to job instantly, especially when the job market doesn’t allow it. As soon as summer came along, though, we would make the drive to Rye, NH, where we stayed along Wallis Sands Beach. The NH coastline isn’t large, but for what it is, it’s breathtaking. I was lucky enough to recognize its beauty as a young kid. I’d spend my days waiting for the sun to go down before heading off to climb the rocks at the end of the beach, search for starfish, and ultimately watch the sunset over the crashing waves.
